Writing is all I have ever wanted to do. I have been writing stories all of my life, but until I married Prof. Susan Austin, who teaches English literature, I didn't really know how fiction could be made to work. In return, I shared everything I know about cinema; it is in this way that two people who love one another can complement one another.
My stories seek primarily to entertain and involve the reader, which should be the primary goal of most novelists. In nonfiction, I try to explain what I mean as clearly and concisely as I can. How readers feel is something over which I have no control; of course, they are the ultimate judges of a book's success. I can only hope my work meets your expectations. I welcome reader reviews, good or bad. I'll pass the better ones along.
I am available to appear at events, and I'm more than willing to talk to book clubs and similar societies. I have Skype, so distance is not a problem. E-mail can be sent to me on the contact page. And don't forget to find me on Facebook.
I am available to help others with their writing; see the services page for more. I hope you find my site useful, informative, and worth your while.
